I have had the Acer Iconia A500 tablet about a month now, and find the haradwre quality to be top notch and the battery life is wonderful. My main complaint is that of the hundreds if not thousands of Android Apps available, most will NOT work on this tablet, as they are either designed for the earlier 2.2 Ver of Android, or they are exclusive to Android cell phone use, and not the tablet. I have tried to download and failed on more apps than I have successfully been able to download and use. I am now thinking I should have spent the extra $100 for an iPad instead. I can not fault the haradwre, just that Apple appears light-years ahead on availability tablet apps over the Android system. vimusic21 says:It was so remarkably fast, and the GUI was so intuitive that I was blown away.
