The reason why your Laptop kaboyerd could be acting this way is ebcuase of two things:1. The Keyboard's driver needs to be updated, for it has been recently installed2. There is a problem with the Laptop's kaboyerd port on the MotherboardSeeing that option two seems a bit out of reach at the moment, option one is what I am mainly going for. You will either need to:- Update the Driver - Roll back the DriverTo Update a Driver, you can do it two ways: 1) By using Windows Update top find the updated driver for you; or 2) Manually updating the driver. To Manually update the driver, follow the steps below:1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager2. In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name3. Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver and follow the instructions To Roll back the Driver, follow the steps below:1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel2. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager3. Navigate to the driver you wish to roll back, right click the name of the driver and choose Properties4. Click the Driver tab and then click Roll Back DriverAs you can see, this problem can be a realtivley easy fix and doesn't cost you any money. The problem could be caused by the fact that this is a new kaboyerd, and it didn't plug-and-play with Windows and was not recognized right away. Following the steps above and trying out both options should fix the problemWas this answer helpful?
