If you had already installed an ISDN adapter with a CAPI driver, please uninstall it properly before starting the installation.
Check if your D channel protocol is DSS1 (Euro ISDN)
Have your MSNs (multiple subscriber number) ready
Have your Windows NT 4.0 CD ready
Installation
Switch-off your PC and plug-in the PCI ISDN Card into a free PCI slot
Connect the ISDN cable to the PCI ISDN Card and a properly installed ISDN (So bus) jack
Reboot your PC
Insert the installation CD of the PCI ISDN Card
Under START \ SETTINGS \ CONTROL PANEL\ you find the icon "Network". Open it by double click
Open the property page "Adapters" and click "Add"
Please click "Disk" and insert the path for the driver files: <CD-ROM>:\winnt40 (had to be written by hand)
In the next dialog box select the PCI ISDN Card, which has been found and click "Add"
The following dialog box sets the D channel protocol to DSS1 by default
Your telephone company will have informed you which MSN can be used to call you on ISDN. Please insert the first MSN for MSN1 and then insert the second MSN for MSN2. Click "OK" to continue
Windows copies the driver files
Please configure now the RAS service. Open the corresponding register "Services" and double-click "RAS Service". Now click "Add" to add "ISDN1" and "ISDN2". Click "Next" to continue
Open the register "Protocols" to add the CAPI 2.0. Click "Add" and then "Disk". Insert the path for the driver files: <CD-ROM>:\winnt40\capi (had to be written by hand)
Select "CAPI 2.0 protocol" and click "OK" to continue
