It's a pain in the behind into which I had gtoten myself last week.Turns out that you can't see the checkbox when you don't have an external monitor connected (that's computer intelligence for you), and of course you can't see it when the monitor is attached either, because mirroring doesn't work with the Hackintosh.Turns out there is a tool on your Hackintosh that allows you to turn mirror off.Type the following in a terminal window: /Extra/bin/mirroring offThen connect the external monitor before hitting enter. |
