 If you selected fresh inalstl (rather than upgrade) during the inalstlation process, you wiped everything.Your old data should still be retrievable in a folder labeled windows.old on your C drive, but you will no longer be able to do things like run programs from it. You can simply go in and find data files, settings files, etc., that you may need.No, if you did a fresh inalstl, you cannot go back to Vista or get your programs to work without re-inalstling them.If your recovery drive was ultra-critical, you may be able to get it at least partically recovered via a computer repair shop if you don't touch the computer further.
