Hotair microphone game. Guy uses your voice level from the microphone object to control the altitude of the hot air balloon. with just a little more work, one could easily make this into a game. check out the cool dynamic shadow.

Hey Don! Thanks for the comment!I did rahetr extensive research before deciding on the Heil PR-40. In that time, I looked at both the EV RE20, as well as the RE27. The RE27 has a certain characteristic to it that adds just a little too much high frequency to one's voice for my liking. It's definitely a nice sounding mic, just not suited for me.As for my interface, that's pretty simple. I'm running all of my audio through an Alesis Multimix 8 mixer. This is the Firewire version but I'm actually using an analog signal to my soundcard for all of the recording. In regards to the MXL 990, I'm beginning to realize how terrible that microphone sounds when put head-to-head with the PR40. First of all, the mic sounds horribly muddy. This is an inherent quality of Chinese condensers they just sound muddy. Too much low, too little mids and highs. The maker of this microphone tried to compensate for that with making this mic extremely bright sounding without EQ I hate that. When using the MXL, I had to EQ the heck out of it, and it still didn't sound the greatest. One other thing I like the fact that the PR40 is a dynamic mic. I'm sure you find this true with the RE27 as well no sound gets in, except for my voice. That is one of the greatest qualities of these dynamic microphones. As you can see, the Noisivitca studio isn't exactly the holy grail of audio treated rooms but the PR40 sounds good nonetheless.I hope I've answered your questions thoroughly enough! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know!Dave
