a) The main screen will allow the user to enter his profile and save it by clicking on to the save button. Once the profile is saved the user will switch to the next view namely the Basic Daily view
b) In the 'Basic Daily view' the user can record his conditions for the particular date selected from the date combo. Once the user has entered the information he can save the entered conditions and he is prompted to enter some more information in a next view that opens-up namely Medication view. a) The application will help the user to keep track of his:
Symptoms ( breathlessness, coughing, wheezing, chest tightness etc.) Peak Flow - how fast the person is able to blow air out of lungs. b) The user can generate detailed reports which will provide a comprehensive feedback on his conditions to discuss with his doctor.
c) It will help the user to understand, manage and control his conditions( like peak flow reading both in the morning and evening, etc.) n order to install the application on your device, please go through the instructions in readme.txt shipped with the device. The steps in brief are as follows :
The delivery files are provided in the form of a self extracting archive.
In order to install Asthma+ these files must be extracted to a directory on the user's PC. This will provide him with two files :
- asthma.sis - Main installation file.
- Readme.txt - The application's 'Readme' file.
To install Asthma+ do one of the following :
1) Connect your Psion Series 5 machine to your PC. Now goto the 'Psi Win' menu in your Start/Programs menu and select the 'Install New Program' option. Follow the instructions to install.
2) Copy asthma.sis file to you Psion machine. Now go to Control Panel and select 'Add/Remove Program' option. Follow the on screen instructions to install
